From the creators of Bubble Trouble and Heartstrings comes an all new feature-length comedy adventure! John Moore and Cameron Cavillo are buddies; aspiring filmmakers with the dream of winning the prestigious American Viewfinder film festival. When an acquaintance of Cameron's, an elderly Widow, faces losing her home to the outrageous property taxes in her area, the Moore family takes action, along with their friends, the Morton family. Through political smears, on-set mishaps, and a wild western ride, these families band together in a classic black hat/white hat tale of heroism!

 The Widow's Might Wins Big
at the
San Antonio Christian Film Festival

The Widow's Might won the 'Audience Choice' Award, the 'Best of Festival' Award, and runner-up for 'Best Feature Film'. This marks the second year in a row that HeuMoore has come home with the Audience Choice award.

Over 1300 audience members packed into the Lila Cockrell theater in San Antonio for the premiere, and the mood was absolutely electric. As the next 100 minutes of film unfolded, the audience laughed, cried, and cheered their way through.

The SAICFF presented tough competition this year; features such as Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed, Fireproof, and The Secrets of Jonathan Sperry were produced by teams with years of experience, and multiple features under their belts. The Widow's Might was HeuMoore's (Heustis and Moore's filmmaking company) first attempt at a feature film; and they were nervous that it wouldn't hold up against more acclaimed projects.

But The Widow's Might held it's own. The Widow's Might left the festival with the Audience Choice award, having more than twice the number of votes as their nearest competitor, and it was also awarded the prestigious 'Best of Festival' Jubilee award, while Fireproof came in as first runner-up. This marks the first time that a Christian film has been awarded the largest cash prize in the United States, and makes the HeuMoore team the youngest team to ever win the 'Best of Festival' award from the SAICFF.
